The Cala Luna Hotel has always worked hard for the satisfaction of its guests, as well as its staff and suppliers, and this also means taking care of their health. In a sensitive and unusual moment such as the one we are currently experiencing with the COVID-19 pandemic, scrupulously and meticulously adhering to the most recent advice and recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Italian National Institute of Health (ISS) and the local authorities, we have decided to adopt safe protocols shared by all our collaborators in order to guarantee maximum safety, tranquility and serenity to all those who wish to stay with us whether traveling for business or leisure.

We have adopted a safe reception protocol that concerns compliance with the measures of social distancing, the use of personal protective equipment, the sanitization of all hotel spaces, from rooms to common areas, to the serving of food and beverages in compliance with current legislation. All staff have been informed and trained on Covid-19 protocols in order to safely carry out their tasks and avoid the potential spread of the infection within the facility. Staff are subjected to daily body temperature measurements before and after each shift and are suitably equipped with all personal protective equipment.

Sanitizing gel is available to guests in all common areas of the hotel. Disposable face masks are also available upon request. Inside the facility, entry and exit routes are clearly visible in order to avoid gatherings and information signs listing the behavior to be adopted in the various environments, such as lifts, the Spa, etc. All common areas are properly cleaned and sanitized, especially door handles, elevator buttons, stair handrails, etc. The common toilet facilities are sanitized and disinfected several times a day. As required by the health authorities, all air-conditioning and conditioning systems are equipped with particularly rigorous maintenance and control processes and they undergo intense cleaning and sanitization of the filters on a daily basis.

Although we are certain that our guests are already familiar with the measures which have been put into place, nevertheless they should be regarded as and remembered as a form of hospitality: physical distance, hand hygiene and respiratory hygiene.

    The reception staff use oronasal personal protection equipment throughout their entire shift, and sanitize their hands after coming into contact with any customer and non-customer object. The staff will sanitize the work and contact surfaces of the front desk after each shift change. Check-in and check-out are carried out in a way as to minimize contact with objects, documents or credit cards belonging to guests, even with contactless electronic payment. A thermal scanner is used to measure the body temperature of all incoming guests, before proceeding with the check-in procedure. The reception staff respects physical distancing. To avoid any contamination, the guests will no longer be escorted to their rooms, but instead the guests will access the room on their own, after completing the check-in procedure. The routes of entry and exit from the reception area are clearly established and outlined.

    In addition to our standard cleaning procedures, we have taken additional measures of daily sanitization and disinfection of rooms with certified products. Every departure room undergoes a more thorough sanitization of the surfaces and fabrics. The tourist information material in the rooms has been removed, leaving the possibility for the customer to request a personal copy directly at the reception desk. The TV remote control will be stored in a sealed envelope. We kindly ask our guests to leave the windows open when leaving the room. Our qualified staff will enter each room only ONCE a day for a thorough daily cleaning and sanitation.

  • Breakfast Area

    You can access the breakfast area and our restaurant only if wearing the oronasal protection (face mask) at all times, except when sitting at the table, where you must respect the one-meter distance rule in order to allow the services to be carried out in complete safety. The breakfast buffet will be available to guests wearing their own face mask and disposable gloves available at the breakfast area entrance. It will be possible to request in-room breakfast upon prior reservation. The à la carte restaurant menu can be accessed from your smartphone through the QR-code.

  • In our SPA

    In order to avoid gatherings, the Sauna and the Massage room can be accessed only after making a reservation. Guests can access the Fitness Center after having changed, in the comfort of their own room, equipped with a towel to be used with every machine which the user will subsequently sanitize after each use with the appropriate product provided by the center.
